About Sixmil Airsoft
SIXMIL Airsoft plays in mature woodland off Bardy Lane at Brereton Cross, near Rugeley, reached directly from the A51. The site's own pages put it at 50 to 60 acres. The ground is varied, with trenches, streams, a small lake, dense and light woodland, hills and several valleys, plus built structures and control points such as Pablo's Plane, the Depot, the Fort, East FOB, Signpost Hill, the Nuke Dump and the Farm, and plenty of fox holes and machine gun nests. Games change every game day, mixing story and scenario events with shorter skirmish games, and most use the whole site instead of zoning it off. Sunday game days draw players from across the country. It is a walk-on site, so players with their own kit can just turn up; rental weapons and kit from the sister company SIXMIL.com must be booked in advance. Facilities include parking for over 200 vehicles next to the safe zone, flood-lit covered setup shelters, a well-stocked shop, free HPA refills, toilets and wash facilities, a hot food van, an 80 metre covered shooting range used for chrono and zeroing, and a boot and kit cleaning station.
