VFC has revealed a gas blowback replica of the Sons of Liberty Gun Works MK1, built with SOLGW and Lancer Tactical on VFC's latest AR system. It is licensed for Asia and Europe.

Umarex has shown a licensed airsoft replica of the HK G95K, the short version of the rifle the Bundeswehr chose to replace the G36. It is an AEG with a programmable electronic trigger.

IWA OutdoorClassics 2026 closed in Nuremberg on 01/03/2026 with 1,050 exhibitors from 49 countries. VFC and Umarex used the show to reveal a run of new airsoft replicas.

The Midwest Airsoft Reenactment Society opened its 2026 season in Kansas with Nikopol Bridgehead, 20 to 22 February, a multi day Eastern Front game set in February 1944.

Two New York bills would add air rifles and BB guns to the state's imitation weapon rules, raise the purchase age to 18 and double the civil penalty. Both are still in committee.

MPs in Cyprus have asked the Ministry of Justice to bring a bill to regulate airsoft to the Council of Ministers within 15 days. Players have been waiting for rules since 2014.
