About Survival Combat Games
Survival Combat Games has run games at Southdown Woods, Yarnscombe, near Barnstaple since 1988. The gate and check-in open at 08:30, chrono at 09:00, the safety brief is at 09:45 and the last game ends at 16:30. Players from 11 upwards can take part, and full gun hire packages include a gun, 1000 BBs, eye protection and overalls. Site limits are 1.3 joules for AEGs, 1.9 for DMRs and 2.3 for snipers, with a 30 metre minimum engagement distance for DMRs and snipers. Barrel socks are required. On site there is undercover seating with picnic benches, a large free car park, HPA and air bottle refills, flushing toilets and a shop selling BBs in several weights, grenades (18+), kit, drinks and snacks. Hot food can be pre-ordered when booking. The venue also runs paintball and laser games.
