About 1066 Airsoft
1066 Airsoft plays at Adams Fruit Farm on Ivyhouse Lane, on the edge of Hastings, and shares its home with 1066 Paintball. The ground covers acres of countryside split into battlezones: The Village, a mock village to attack and defend; Hellfire Hill, a wooded hillside with mixed terrain and obstacles; and The Jungle, open grassland with barricades and bases. A fourth zone, The Arena, is under construction. Skirmish days run on Sundays, roughly every two weeks, and are booked in advance through Eventbrite. Gates open at 08:00 and close at 09:00, the chrono opens at 08:30, the safety briefing runs from 09:30 to 10:00 and play finishes at about 15:30, with a lunch break of around 45 minutes from 12:30. Game modes include payload, team deathmatch, domination, protection and last man standing. A day costs £30 with your own kit, or £40 with the rental package of overalls, mask, M4 style AEG and two loaded magazines. Only biodegradable BBs are allowed and are sold on site with gas. The minimum age is 10, and under 16s need written permission from a parent or guardian. Group, corporate, birthday, stag and hen bookings are taken with a minimum of 10 players.
