About District 23

District 23 is an indoor arena on Leeholme Road in Billingham. The main airsoft arena covers 17,000 sq ft and is built to look like an American midtown district, with blind corners, alleys, vehicle props and sky bridges, so the fighting is close and fast. The venue runs airsoft alongside Nerf and gel blaster sessions, airsoft tasters for teens and adults, and parties and business events. Tactical gear and guns can be hired on site. A 12-month membership costs £60 and brings discounts on field fees, a free birthday session, a club patch and member socials. Bookings are made online through their website.

Power limits0.20g BBs 350 fps, 0.25g 313 fps, 0.28g 296 fps. These are limits, not targets, and only these three BB weights are allowed.
ChronoGuns are chronoed with your own BBs and may be spot-checked with site BBs. HPA tanks are tournament locked.
Eye protectionEye protection must be worn at all times in the arena and when checking guns at the chrono. Removing it in the arena gets one warning, then ejection.
Under 18sPlayers aged 12 to 17 may be dropped off to play alone, as long as a parent or guardian leaves an emergency phone number.
No blind firingYou must be able to see down the barrel to where you are shooting. No firing around corners or through holes smaller than an open hand.
No minimum engagement distanceThere is no minimum engagement distance and no bang-bang rule. A surrender can be offered but does not have to be accepted.
Drugs and alcoholDrugs and alcohol are banned on site. Anyone thought to be under the influence is asked to leave without a refund.
