About Fireball Squadron Airsoft
Fireball Squadron is an airsoft site and club near Birmingham, set up in 1998 and run by players for players, with more than 40 members. The site at Bassetts Pole off Coppice Lane is mainly natural woodland with some CQB areas and themed buildings ranging from WW2 to the Wild West. Public walk-on games are held on the first Saturday of each month (January can differ), and dates are posted on the club's news page. The gate opens at 08:00 and shuts at 09:00, guns are chronoed before the briefing, and the new player brief starts at 09:15; the gate re-opens at 16:30. Walk-ons cost £30, or £25 for members, and you only need to book if you want a hire gun, which is £20 by email. Drinks and snacks are sold on the day. Limits are 1.2 joules and 25 rounds per second, with BBs up to 0.32g, and divers bottles and TAG rounds are not allowed. The club also runs private themed games such as Star Wars, WW2, Western and Cold War days. Trained first aiders are on site. The minimum age is 14, and under 18s must come with a parent or guardian and wear a full face mask.
