About FRV Airsoft
FRV Airsoft opened in 2005 and is one of the longest-running and largest game sites in Northern Ireland. It is on the Loughinisland Road off the Downpatrick Road (B2), about five miles from Ballynahinch; the satnav postcode is BT30 8JJ. Game days are posted monthly on its game dates page: gates open at 09:00 and gaming runs 11:00 to 17:00. Book your place with a £10 deposit. Every day starts with a full safety brief. Walk-on with your own kit is £20 for a full day or £15 for a half day. Rental, with a full face mask, combats and an AEG, is £40 for a full day including 5000 BBs, a soft drink and a chocolate bar, or £25 for a half day with 1200 BBs. Groups of 15 or more booking a full day get the organiser's rental free. Biodegradable BBs, battery charging and pyro (over 18s, Enola Gaye and Pyrosoft) are sold on site. Pyro cannot leave the site without PSNI paperwork. Minimum age is 10, and players 17 and under need a consent form signed by a parent or guardian. FRV also runs IPSC style competition shoots and hires out a mobile airsoft range.
