About RIFT Airsoft REDCON-2

REDCON-2 is a R.I.F.T. Airsoft site on the open northern part of the Abingdon airfield, part of the active Dalton Barracks MOD site, which dates back to the Second World War. The game area covers about 70 acres, with several original buildings, undulating ground, concrete roads and man-made defences, usable military vehicles, a tank graveyard and a Lynx helicopter. Echo Base is the close-quarters CQB area. Games run on a Sunday every two weeks: arrival from 07:50, gates open at 08:00 and close sharp at 09:00, and play ends at 16:00. Booking is through the R.I.F.T. booking site, membership is not needed, and members get £5 off the game fee. Payment is on the day, with cash preferred because of card charges and weak signal. White Sphere Tactical runs the on-site shop, which also does HPA refills, and there is hot and cold food and drink all day, toilets, free battery charging and a large parking area. Players must be 12 or over, a parent or guardian must stay on site with under 18s, and under 18s must wear full face protection.
