About The Fort Airsoft

The Fort plays in Inchdairniemuir Woods off Strathore Road near Kirkcaldy in Fife, with woodland and urban scenarios. Open skirmish days run on Sundays from 10:00am to 5:00pm on the dates on their game days page; be on site by 09:30, and the finish depends on light and players. The £25 walk-on fee covers the whole day and includes a full face mask and a camouflage suit when available. Full hire adds a gun, one magazine, a battery change and 3000 BBs for £25, or the gun alone for £15, best booked in advance and paid on the day, cash preferred. Your first HPA refill is free, then £2 each. Individual players are welcome, and groups are asked to call or book well ahead. Players can be 12 or over if mature; under 16s need a parent or guardian on site all day and a full face mask, and 16 and 17 year olds need an adult with them on their first visit. Bookings are taken through Airsoft World.

Eye and face protectionProtection must be worn at all times outside the safe zone and must withstand a point-blank 500 fps shot (EN-166F or EN-166A). The site may test any eyewear.
Age rulesPlayers aged 12 and 13 need a responsible adult with them all day; 14 and 15 need a parent or guardian within a 10-minute drive; 16 and 17 may be left on site.
FootwearSturdy boots are strongly recommended. Wellingtons are not allowed; trainers are at your own risk.
Take your hitsCall your hits honestly. Cheating gets you removed from the site, and dead players must stay quiet and cannot be used as shields.
Aim for the bodyAim for the torso and avoid deliberate head shots.
Semi-auto under 10 metresInside 10 metres only semi-auto fire is allowed, with no exceptions.
No drink or drugsAnyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs is asked to leave straight away.
Respect and marshalsNo screaming, swearing or shouting at others to take hits. Marshals' decisions are final; raise problems with a marshal.
