About The Worx Airsoft
The Worx Airsoft plays across 200 acres of mixed heath, moorland and forestry at Stuckenduff Farm, Shandon, high above the Gare Loch just outside Helensburgh. The ground is hilly, with natural outcrops for sniping, purpose-built structures and a castle to defend, so a basic level of fitness helps and players should expect mud. Sunday game days run every three weeks, with evening games usually every second Wednesday in summer. Scenarios include capture the flag, VIP escort, bomb defusal and defend the tower, and games are set up for both new and experienced players. Rental kit includes an electric M4, 1,000 BBs and safety gear, but rental numbers are limited so booking ahead is advised. There is a large covered safe zone with a small cafe and basic covered toilets. The site also has an AttackSense smart target range that records your hits and reaction times. The Worx is UKARA registered and tracks games so regular players can qualify, supplies kit from Nuprol and iWholesales and pyro from EG Grenades. Private hire is available for stag and hen dos, birthdays and corporate days for groups of 6 to 16, from age 10.
