About Wolfgang Airsoft Gunbarrel Creek

Wolfgang Airsoft plays at Gunbarrel Creek, a family-run woodland activity centre on Melbourne Road at Lount, near Ashby-de-la-Zouch. The team has run airsoft since 2018 and moved to Lount in 2019. The game zone covers over 12 acres of woodland, with creeks, sniper hides, an old off-road bike track, a purpose-built APC and several stronghold points, and game modes use props such as an electronic bomb and carry devices. Public game days run every other Sunday: gates open at 09:00 and play ends around 16:00. Walk-on is £25, or £20 for members (membership £35 a year, including UKARA registration). Rental packages start at £45 and must be booked; up to 30 can be hired at once. On site there is parking, a portable toilet, a Cook House hut selling snacks, hot dogs and drinks, BBs and pyro for sale, and a 16m x 4m covered setup area. Minimum age is 11. The centre also runs private airsoft parties, Nerf Wars and laser tag.

7 things to know
Minimum age 11Players must be aged 11 or over.
Power limitsAEGs, pistols and shotguns 350 fps (1.14J), DMRs 420 fps (1.64J) and sniper rifles 520 fps (2.5J), all on 0.20g BBs.
Semi-auto and minimum distanceAnything over 350 fps must be locked to semi-auto and keep a minimum engagement distance of 20 metres.
WaiverEvery player signs the online waiver before playing. It lasts 12 months and then has to be submitted again.
Book if hiringRentals must be booked in advance. Own-kit players can turn up, but booking is advised as the site caps at 50 players and booked players get priority.
Gate timesGates open at 9am exactly; do not arrive earlier. Wait in the lay-by past the entrance, not on the main road.
No photos or videoPlayers may not take photos or film on public game days for safeguarding and GDPR reasons. Only the site's approved photographer may, and you can opt out at the start of the day.
