About Yorkshire Airsoft

Yorkshire Airsoft plays on the Yorkshire Outdoor Activity Park on the Escrick Park Estate at Skipwith, between York and Selby. The site is large woodland with trenches, bunkers, woodland paths, stricken vehicles and what they call the UK's largest purpose-built paintball bridge. The main event is Proving Grounds, run with Halo Mill: a monthly own-kit operation of about six hours of rolling, objective-based play with timed objectives and respawns, for up to 300 players aged 14 and over. Rental days cover beginners, birthdays, stag groups and corporate days with all kit included. There is undercover seating for up to 300 players, on-site catering, toilets, an airsoft consumables shop and free HPA refills on Proving Grounds days.

8 things to know
Eye and face protectionCE-marked eye protection must be worn in the game zones and gun rooms and only comes off in the safe area. Under 18s must wear full face protection, which the site lends free.
Barrel socks in the safe areaEvery gun needs a barrel sock in the safe area as a condition of insurance. The site lends them free to anyone without one.
No firing in the safe areaNo firing or dry firing in the safe area. Test your gun at the chrono station instead.
Velocity limitsAEG 350 fps, DMR 400 fps and sniper 500 fps, all on a 0.20g BB. Every gun is chrono tested in front of a marshal before you get your armband.
CE-marked pyro onlyAny pyro used must carry a CE mark. Unmarked pyro is not allowed, wherever it was bought.
Take your hitsA BB hitting you anywhere counts. Shout hit and raise your arm. Players who do not take hits are removed, and the site has issued lifetime bans.
HPA kitHPA bottles and regulators must be in date and CE-marked, and hoses must show a pressure rating. Under 18s may not use the fill rigs.
Bio BBs onlyOnly biodegradable BBs are allowed on site.
