About Cybergun
Cybergun is a French company based in Suresnes, now trading under the group name Calibre (Calibre Groupe),, near Paris, that makes officially licensed airsoft replicas. It was founded in 1986 by Jérôme Marsac and Vincent Bouvet as a modelling business and launched its AIR SOFT GUNS range in 1993. Its first firearms licence, Smith & Wesson, came in 1997, followed by Colt, SIG Sauer, Desert Eagle and others, and it now holds more than 20 exclusive global licences. Licences shown on its site include FN Herstal, FAMAS, Kalashnikov, Thompson, Mauser, Mossberg, Springfield Armory, Swiss Arms, Tanfoglio, Magnum Research, DPMS, Century Arms, GSG, Kahr Arms, Arsenal Firearms and Shadow Systems. The range covers spring, gas blowback, CO2 and AEG replicas, from FN SCAR and M249 models to the Thompson and MP40. Cybergun patented a clear-bodied replica in 1998 and its BAX and CYCLONE systems in 2003. It sits in a group with Evike Europe, the Arkania design office and the hunting gunmaker Verney-Carron. An in-house team of technicians handles after-sales service, and its YouTube channel has user guides for each replica type.
