GHK

GHK Airsoft is a Taiwanese maker that focuses on gas blowback rifles (GBBR) and the parts for them, built to give realistic recoil and handling. Its range is split into series: the AR series with DDM4 V7 and DDM4 PDW models, the AK series with the AKM V3, AK74M and AK105, plus SG 553, AUG, Glock and HK series. The GCX series covers newer designs such as the GCX SPEAR LT and the GCX RSAR. Most rifles run on green gas or CO2 magazines. GHK says its GBBRs suit beginners who want realism, but need more care than an AEG and are affected by cold weather, and it recommends 0.3g BBs or heavier. It does not sell direct: products go through distributors in Europe, Asia, North America and New Zealand, with iWholesales, Defcon Airsoft and Milspec Solutions listed for the UK. For repairs, owners should return the gun to the shop they bought it from, which sends it on to the factory if it cannot fix it; guns should not be sent to the factory directly. Owner's manuals and a product catalogue can be downloaded from its website, and it answers questions by email.
