Silverback

Silverback Airsoft is a Hong Kong maker set up in 2008 by airsoft players and wargamers, and it says everything it makes is designed for airsoft use only. It is best known for its licensed replicas of Desert Tech rifles, made under licence from Desert Tech LLC with engraved markings and unique serial numbers. The bolt-action lines are the SRS bullpup sniper series (SRS A1, SRS A2 and the SRS-A2/M2 Sport 16 inch), the HTI and the TAC-41 platform (TAC-41A, TAC-41L, TAC-41LS and TAC-41P). The MDRX series covers AEG versions, with the V3 using a CNC aluminium wide bore cylinder, plus an HPA engine and fire control unit. Its catalogue also carries a large range of mechanical parts and accessories: gears, cylinders, pistons, springs, hop-up, inner and outer barrels, bolt parts, magazines, monopods and rails. Silverback sells through retailers rather than direct, and notes that stock springs and muzzle energy vary by country, so buyers should check with their retailer. User manuals and exploded views for each model are free to download from its website.
