Sportsmarketing (SMK)

Sportsmarketing, the trading name of L R Nash (SMK) Ltd, is a family-run importer and distributor based on the Whitehall Road Industrial Estate in Colchester, Essex. It has served the gun, fishing tackle, toy and sports trades for more than 50 years and describes itself as the largest importer and distributor of air rifles and pistols in the UK. Its own SMK brand covers air rifles from junior to adult size, air pistols, scopes, mounts and sights, targets, gun slips and cases and gun care products, and its catalogue also lists airsoft, Remington firearms, archery, ammunition, paintball, slingshots and metal detectors. Sportsmarketing supplies the trade only and does not sell to the public; it says more than 1000 UK shops stock its products, offers next day delivery to retailers, takes trade orders online and sends out a free printed catalogue, with public enquiries passed to a nearby stockist.
