Tanaka Works

Tanaka Works (Kabushiki Kaisha Tanaka) is a Japanese maker of airsoft guns and model guns, based in Toshima, Kita-ku, Tokyo. It is best known for its revolvers, including Smith and Wesson models such as the M29, M27, M64, M640 and M442, the Colt Python and Single Action Army, and detective-style snub-nose revolvers. Its range index also lists automatic pistols based on SIG, Browning Hi-Power, Glock, HK and Luger P08 designs, plus the Desert Eagle .50AE, and long guns such as the Kar98k and Gew30 air rifles, the Type 38 rifle, the M700 and the L96. Tanaka does not sell direct online. Its guns and parts are sold through dealers, and it posts the next month's production schedule on its website around the 20th of each month. Repairs are requested through the shop where the gun was bought and normally take two to three weeks, and spare parts can be ordered through a dealer or directly by phone. Discontinued models are not repaired.
