K-ISOM, the German magazine covering special forces, tactical equipment and the airsoft scene, has announced its second special issue of 2026. Titled Drohnenkampf, which translates as drone combat, it goes on sale on 23 October.
The issue is available at station newsagents and specialist shops in Germany, and it can be ordered through the magazine's back issue archive. The publisher has not given a full contents list ahead of release.
Drones have become one of the most discussed subjects in modern military coverage, and they are starting to turn up in milsim too, mostly as scouting tools at larger events. A full special issue on the subject reflects how much interest there is.
Print magazines have a smaller audience than they once did, but K-ISOM has a loyal readership among German speaking players and gear collectors. We will be interested to see whether the issue covers how drones are being used in airsoft games as well as in the real world.
