Archwick has announced that its officially licensed replica of the B&T APC9K is now available, alongside the rest of its APC9 series. The news was reported by Airsoft Milsim News on 27/07/2026, and Archwick is promoting the range under the line "Modular from the ground up".
B&T is a Swiss arms maker based in Thun. Its APC family, short for Advanced Police Carbine, was announced in 2011 and has grown into a range of compact carbines and submachine guns in several calibres. The APC9K is the short version chambered in 9mm, designed to be easy to handle in vehicles and buildings.
The design has seen wider use in recent years. A version of the APC9K was chosen by the United States Army as a compact personal defence weapon, which is how the photograph above came to be released into the public domain by the Army's equipment programme office.
What Archwick is offering
The key point of the announcement is the licence. Archwick's APC9 series carries official B&T approval, so the markings and shape follow the real gun. The company has not published new specifications in the release we have seen, and no prices were included, so we cannot yet say how the replica differs from other APC9 models it sells. We will add those details when Archwick confirms them.
The modular tagline reflects the real design. The APC family is built so that stocks, rails, barrels and other parts can be changed to suit the job, and a replica that follows that layout lets players change the length and handling of the gun without buying a whole new one.
What it means for players
Compact submachine guns are popular at indoor and urban sites, where a short weapon is easier to move with. The APC9K is short even by those standards, and it fits well with the trend towards close quarters games in the UK, where many sites now run in warehouses, factories and purpose built villages.
Players who already use other replicas will want to know about magazines. Until Archwick confirms what the APC9K takes and how many rounds the magazines hold, we would not assume compatibility with any other pattern.
What happens next
With the full APC9 series now on sale, we expect to see the range reach shops across Europe and Asia over the coming months. We will report back when owners have had time to test the replicas in the field and when prices are clear.
