EMG has released an officially licensed airsoft replica of the KelTec KSG, the bullpup pump action shotgun with two magazine tubes. The release was reported by Airsoft Milsim News on 16/07/2026.
KelTec, the American firearms maker, introduced the KSG in 2011. It is a 12 gauge pump action shotgun built in a bullpup layout, which places the action behind the grip so that the overall length stays short while the barrel stays long. Its most unusual feature is the pair of magazine tubes under the barrel. The user can feed from one tube and then flip a selector to feed from the other, which allows two types of ammunition to be carried at once.
What EMG has made
The airsoft KSG fires a burst of between 3 and 6 BBs with each shot, which is how most airsoft shotguns imitate the spread of a real shotgun. It keeps the bullpup layout and the twin tubes, ejects its shells downwards and is ambidextrous, so left handed players can use it without changes.
EMG says the replica holds up to 14+1 shells, matching the layout of the real gun, and there is a tab to switch between the two tubes. The overall length is 26.1 inches, roughly 66 cm, which makes it shorter than many airsoft rifles.
No price was given in the release we have seen, and the gas or power source has not been confirmed in that material. We will add those details once EMG confirms them.
Where it fits in a game
A short shotgun with a large shell capacity suits close quarters play. In buildings and on urban sites, a 66 cm replica is easy to carry through doors and around corners, and a burst of several BBs gives a better chance of a hit at short range. The second tube also opens up some fun options, such as loading a different type of shell or keeping a reserve.
The trade off is range and rate of fire. Shell fed airsoft shotguns are slower to reload than a rifle magazine, and players who choose one tend to do so because they enjoy the challenge. The KSG's capacity helps here, as it can go longer before a reload than most shotgun replicas.
What happens next
Licensed replicas of distinctive real guns tend to sell well, and the KSG has been a recognisable design in films and games for more than a decade. We expect to see it at UK sites once retailers have stock. As with any shotgun replica, players should check their site's rules on minimum engagement distances before taking it into a game.
