PTS Syndicate has launched an aluminium version of the Kinetic SAS SCAR Adaptable Stock Kit, made under an exclusive licence from Kinetic Development Group. Airsoft Milsim News reported the worldwide launch on 5 June 2026.
The kit
The kit replaces the standard stock on a SCAR pattern replica with a stock that folds and adjusts differently. The mounting bracket is CNC machined from 6000 series aluminium and anodised black.
The stock is made from reinforced polymer and has seven length positions. It has an integrated cheek riser that can be adjusted for height. It folds to the side and is held by a spring lock. There are quick detach sling cups on both sides.
PTS lists two colours: black, code KN003490307, and FDE, code KN003490313. No prices were given in the report.
Fitting
PTS says the kit is a drop in fit for the VFC SCAR-H gas blowback rifle. Owners of the VFC SCAR-L gas blowback rifle need a spacer kit, which is included. The spacer kit contains an aluminium spacer, hex screws and two 3D printed fillers.
Kinetic Development Group is an American maker of rifle parts, known for its SCAR accessories. Its SAS stock was designed to address complaints about the standard SCAR stock, such as its bulk and its fixed cheek height.
The SCAR's standard stock is large and its cheek rest does not suit every optic. A stock with an adjustable cheek riser lets the shooter line up with a high red dot or a magnified optic without lifting their head off the stock. A side folding stock also makes the rifle shorter for transport, which matters for players who travel to games.
What it means for players
The VFC SCAR gas rifles have a loyal following among players who like the real feel of the SCAR. The Kinetic stock has been popular on real rifles, and a licensed replica with correct markings will appeal to owners who copy real builds.
Players should note that the kit replaces a part of the rifle that takes knocks in a game. The aluminium bracket should be stronger than polymer, but the stock itself is still polymer. Players should check that the folding lock holds firmly before use. As with any change to a replica, a stock kit should not affect power or rate of fire. Players should still check that everything is tight and working before the first game with the new stock.
