VFC has released a gas blowback replica of the MP-443 Grach, the Russian service pistol. The release was reported by Airsoft Milsim News on 14/10/2026.
The MP-443 Grach, also known as the PYa or Yarygin pistol, is a 9mm semi automatic pistol designed in Russia. It has been in service with the Russian armed forces and police for many years, and it is a common choice for players building a Russian or Eastern European loadout.
What VFC has made
VFC has given the replica what it calls a Russian style baked finish, intended to match the look of the real pistol. The slide weighs 210 g, and the pistol uses a large bore cylinder to give a strong blowback. The slide and frame are made from a special alloy with alloy steel reinforcement in the areas that take the most wear.
The hop up is adjusted through the guide rod under the barrel, which VFC calls Guide HOP. That means the hop can be set without stripping the pistol, which is useful on the day when switching between BB weights.
The safety is steel and ambidextrous, and the magazine release can be reversed for left handed players. The first batch comes with a B-8 Picatinny mount, which allows a light or other accessory to be fitted. VFC says the pistol will be sold through local dealers.
No price was given in the release we have seen, and VFC has not stated the magazine capacity or gas type in that material. We will add those details when they are confirmed.
What it means for players
Russian pistols have been less common in airsoft than American and European designs, and players who run a Russian themed kit have often had to make do with a small choice of replicas. A licensed style replica from a major maker like VFC gives them a reliable option that matches the rest of their loadout.
The large bore cylinder and the heavy slide suggest VFC has aimed for a strong recoil feel. That usually comes at the cost of gas use, so players should expect fewer shots per fill in cold weather. Adjusting the hop through the guide rod is a practical touch that will make the pistol easier to set up.
What happens next
We expect the Grach to reach shops in the coming weeks. As the first batch includes the Picatinny mount, players who want it should look out for early stock. We will report back once owners have tested the pistol in UK conditions.
